Delran Police Activity May 5, 2017- May 18, 2017


DWI ARREST: On May 5, 2017 Delran Police were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident.  One of the drivers involved in the accident was identified as Shawn Yost of Delran.  It was later learned that Mr. Yost was driving under the influence of alcohol.  Mr. Yost was taken into custody, processed, issued several motor vehicle summonses and he was released pending his court appearance.

ARREST: On May 6, 2017 a Delran Officer came in contact with Richard D. Ehrhart of Riverside.  It was later learned that Mr. Ehrhart had an outstanding warrant out of Burlington County Sheriff’s Department Mr. Ehrhart was placed under arrest, processed on the warrant and he was transported to Burlington County Jail.

DWI ARREST: On May 7, 2017 Delran Police were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident.  One of the drivers involved in the accident was identified as Charles Minor of Medford.  It was later learned that Mr. Minor was driving under the influence of alcohol.  Mr. Minor was taken into custody, processed, issued several motor vehicle summonses and he was released pending his court appearance.

SHOPLIFTING ARREST: On May 10, 2017 Delran Police were dispatched to The Home Depot for a shoplifting.  Edward M. Irwin Jr. of Delran was arrested and charged with shoplifting and he also had a warrant out of Cinnaminson Twp.  Mr. Irwin was turned over to Cinnaminson Police.

ARREST: On May 14, 2017 Delran Police were dispatched to the Rt. 130 Diner for two customers refusing leave after they were asked to leave the diner.  Delran Police officers came in contact with Zachary R. Ewart and Daniel P. Dougherty Jr. both of Delran.  Mr. Ewart and Mr. Dougherty were both charged with disorderly contact and resisting arrest and they were released pending their court appearance.   

ARREST: On May 15, 2017 a Delran Police Officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle driven by Rigoberto Rivera of Pennsauken for a motor vehicle violation.  It was later learned that Mr. Rivera had active warrants out of Magnolia, Pennsauken and Logan Twp. and his license was suspended.  Mr. Rivera was placed under arrest, processed on the warrants, issued motor vehicle summons and he was released after posting bail.

ARREST: On May 17, 2017 a Delran Police Officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle driven by Jared J. Foggy of Cherry Hill for a motor vehicle violation.  It was later learned that Mr. Foggy had active warrants out of Barrington, Pennsauken, Gloucester and Cherry Hill and his license was suspended.  Mr. Foggy was placed under arrest, processed on the warrants, issued motor vehicle summons and he was released.

DRUG ARREST: On May 18, 2017 a Delran Officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle driven by Justin Jose Llera of Pennsauken.  It was later learned that Mr. Llera was in possession of Cocaine and drug paraphernalia and he was driving under the influence.  Mr. Llera was charged with possession of Cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and several motor vehicle summons and he was released pending his court appearance.

DWI ARREST: On May 18, 2017 Delran Police were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident.  One of the drivers involved in the accident was identified as Jumal Akbar of Philadelphia.  It was later learned that Mr. Akbar had outstanding warrants and his license was suspended.  Mr. Akbar was taken into custody, processed, issued several motor vehicle summonses and he was released after posting bail.

Bus Stop Monday!

This morning the Delran Police Department kicked off Bus Stop Monday!

School Officer Williams and Det. Irons will be making random appearances at bus stops in the area throughout the rest of the year. They may even have "tickets" for free pizza, boost or ice cream, and of course an unlimited supply of high fives!

This initiative is aimed at stronger Police community relations and added safety for our community's kids. See you at the bus stop!

Delran Police Activity April 22, 2017 - May 4, 2017

DWI ARREST: On April 22, 2017 Delran Police Officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle driven by Richard Rivera of Cherry Hill for a motor vehicle violation.  It was later learned that Mr. Rivera was driving under the influence of alcohol.  Mr. Rivera was taken into custody, processed, issued several motor vehicle summonses and he was released pending his court appearance.

ARREST: On April 25, 2017 a Delran Officer came in contact with Naimah Burgos of Camden.  It was later learned that Ms. Burgos had an outstanding warrant out of Pennsauken. Ms. Burgos was   placed under arrest, processed on the warrant and he was released.

ARREST: On April 27, 2017 a Delran Police Officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle driven by Adrianna Conepcion of Bordentown for a motor vehicle violation.  It was later learned that Ms. Concepcion had active warrant out of Burlington Twp. and her license was suspended.  Ms. Conepcion was placed under arrest, processed on the warrant, issued motor vehicle summons and she was released after posting bail.

DWI ARREST: On April 30, 2017 Delran Police Officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle driven by Dan Copes of Philadelphia for a motor vehicle violation.  It was later learned that Mr. Copes was driving under the influence of alcohol.  Mr. Copes was taken into custody, processed, issued several motor vehicle summonses and he was released pending his court appearance.

ARREST: On May 1, 2017 a Delran Police Officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle driven by Vivian D. Ellis of Willingboro for a motor vehicle violation.  It was later learned that Ms. Ellis had active warrant out of Bordentown.  Ms. Ellis was placed under arrest, processed on the warrant, issued motor vehicle summons and she was released after posting bail.

SHOPLIFTING ARREST: On May 3, 2017 Delran Police were dispatched to the Wawa for a shoplifting.  Terri Stanard of Marlton was arrested and charged with shoplifting and she was released on a summons pending her court appearance.
