Swim a Lap Day

Swim a Lap Day. Take a lap! Around the pool that is, Swim a Lap Day is a day to get your snorkel and goggles on and patronize your local swimming pool. Summer has arrived. It's time to enjoy all that summer has to offer, including plenty of time in and around the pool. What better way to enjoy the early days of summer, than by taking a lap or two (or three) around the pool. In addition to the fun, it's great exercise to help keep you fit.

Looking Good!

Kids "TICKETED" for doing the right thing

The Delran Police Department is starting a new "ticketing" campaign. This is not your usual police ticket campaign like "Click it or Ticket" or "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" this campaign is targeting young kids. Our department put out a BOLO (Be On the Look Out) for kids doing the right thing.  When officers spot kids doing the right thing they will stop them and issue them a "ticket"  for a free ice cream cone at the Meadows of Delran.  The officers will be looking for kids wearing bike helmets, crossing at crosswalks and using good safety practices.
If your son or daughter is stopped by the police we will ask to take a picture with your child and post it to our social media page.  We will ask permission of the parent prior to posting any pictures. Only first names will be posted to the social media page.

Any other business that would like to participate with coupons can contact our Community Policing Team at (856) 461-4498 ext. 149

Today the Delran Police was out looking for kids doing the right thing.  Lt. Williams and Det. Irons found Everleigh riding her bike with a helmet on and using a crosswalk.  Everleigh was issued a "ticket" for a free ice cream cone at The Meadows.

Keep up the great work kids!  Our officers have plenty more tickets, and they'll be keeping their eyes open as they're out on patrol, looking for more kids to "ticket"!

The Delran Police Department would like to thank Everleigh for doing the right thing!

Sergeant Marshall has received this award every year for the past 10 years illustrating his dedicated service to the residents of Delran.

Security Camera Registration

In an effort to increase our ability to investigate criminal activity more efficiently and effectively, the Delran Police Department is asking those businesses or residents with video surveillance cameras to voluntarily register them with the Police Department. This will enable the Police Department to respond quickly to the location of the cameras and work with the owner to possibly recover evidence of a crime or the identity of a possible suspect. This program is completely voluntary and the information will be utilized for Police purposes only.
