FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
On Thursday July 27, 2017 at 16:05 pm Delran Police Department, Delran Emergency Squad and Delran Fire Department were dispatched to Rt. 130 North bound in the area of Tenby Chase Dr. for a pedestrian motor vehicle accident. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene and was identified to be John J. DeVece a 44 year old male and resident of Delran. The driver was identified as David Leach of Willingboro NJ who was operating a Red Nissan SUV. The no...rth bound side of Route 130 was closed down from 4:00pm to 7:00 pm while police personnel investigated the accident scene. At this time the accident is under investigation.
