Delran Police Activity Jan. 19, 2017 - Jan. 31, 2017

ARREST: On January 19, 2017 a Delran Police Officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle driven by Ulas Uslu of Beverly for a motor vehicle violation.  It was later learned that Mr. Uslu had an active warrant out of Eatontown.  Mr. Uslu was processed on the warrants, issued a motor vehicle summons and he was released.

DWI ARREST: On January 19, 2017 Delran Police were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident.  The driver of one of the vehicles was identified as Jay Griffiths of Pemberton.  It was later learned that Mr. Griffiths was driving under the influence of alcohol and he had active warrants out of Burlington Twp and Willingboro.  Mr. Griffiths was taken into custody, processed, issued several motor vehicle summonses and he was turned over to Burlington Twp. Police Department.

ARREST: On January 21, 2017 a Delran Police Officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle driven by Mindy Nguyen of Philadelphia for a motor vehicle violation.  It was later learned that Ms. Nguyen had an active warrant out of Florence and her license was suspended.  Ms. Nguyen was processed on the warrants, issued a motor vehicle summons and she was turned over to Florence Police Department.

THEFT: On January 26, 2017 a victim reported that his vehicle was broken into in the parking of Planet Fitness.  If anybody has any information about this theft please contact the Delran Police Department.    

 

ARREST: On January 26, 2017 a Delran Police Officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle driven by Kevin S. Moore of Philadelphia for a motor vehicle violation.  It was later learned that Mr. Moore had several active warrants out of Elk Twp, Willingboro, Mt. Laurel, Philadelphia, his license was suspended and he provided a false name to the officer.  Mr. Moore was processed on the warrants, issued several motor vehicle summons and he was lodged into Burlington County Jail.

ARREST: On January 28, 2017 a Delran Police Officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle driven by Steven M. Cherry of Delran for a motor vehicle violation.  It was later learned that Mr. Cherry had an active warrant out of Delran and his license was suspended.  Mr. Cherry was processed on the warrant, issued several motor vehicle summons and he was released.

DWI ARREST: On, January 29, 2017 a Delran Police officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle driven by William Grey of Philadelphia for a motor vehicle violation.  It was later learned that Mr. Grey was driving under the influence of alcohol.  Mr. Grey was taken into custody, processed, issued several motor vehicle summonses and he was released pending his court appearance.

ARREST: On January 30, 2017 a Delran Police Officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle driven by Khalif Norris of Willingboro for a motor vehicle violation.  It was later learned that Mr. Norris had an active warrant out of Hamilton and NJ State Police and his license was suspended.  Mr. Norris was processed on the warrant, issued several motor vehicle summons and he was released.

ARREST: On January 30, 2017 a Delran Police Officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle driven by Latifah G. Myers-Kelsey of Philadelphia for a motor vehicle violation.  It was later learned that Ms. Myers-Kelsey had an active warrant out of Burlington Twp.  Ms. Myers-Kelsey was processed on the warrants, issued a motor vehicle summons and she was released after posting bail.
