2017 Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics!
The Law Enforcement Torch Run made its way through Delran!
This year the "Flame of Hope" will be making its way through multiple jurisdictions throughout the state. There are reportedly 26 separate runs occurring throughout the state with the ultimate goal that each team will arrive to light the cauldron which will signify the opening of the Special Olympics of New Jersey Summer Games at that the College of NJ.
Police Officers, correction officers, and support personnel from all over the state will be participating with their respective teams. Officers from the Delran Police Department participated in the run. This year members of the Delran Police Department raised $1,000 which has been donated to Special Olympics.
