Delran Police Activity June 23, 2017 - June 30, 2017


ARREST: On June 24, 2017 a Delran Officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle driven by Nicholas D. Carter of Westampton for a motor vehicle violation.  It was later learned that Mr. Carter had an active warrant out of Westampton and his license was suspended.  Mr. Carter was processed on the warrants, issued motor vehicle summons and he was released.    
ARREST: On June 24, 2017 a Delran Officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle driven by Gerardo Rodriguez of Camden for a motor vehicle violation.  It was later learned that Mr. Rodriguez had an active warrant out of Camden and his license was suspended.  Mr. Rodriguez was processed on the warrants, issued motor vehicle summons and he was released.   

ARREST: On June 25, 2017 a Delran Officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle driven by Brittany Sanders of Willingboro for a motor vehicle violation.  It was later learned that Ms. Sanders provided a false name to the officer, she had active warrants out of Moorestown and Willingboro and her license was suspended.  Ms. Sanders was processed on the warrants, issued motor vehicle summons and she was lodged into Burlington County Jail.   
ARREST: On June 26, 2017 a Delran Officer came in contact with Gregory Young of Philadelphia.  It was later learned that he had outstanding warrants out of East Greenwich, Bridgeton and Westville and his license was suspended.  Mr. Young was placed under arrest, processed on the warrants and he was released.

ARREST: On June 27, 2017 a Delran Officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle driven by Amauri Torres of Guttenburg NJ for a motor vehicle violation.  It was later learned that Mr. Torres, had active warrants out of Bergen County and his license was suspended.  Mr. Torres was processed on the warrants, issued motor vehicle summons and he was lodged into Burlington County Jail.   

DWI ARREST: On June 27, 2017 Delran Police Officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle driven by David Francisco of Bronx NY for a motor vehicle violation.  It was later learned that Mr. Francisco was driving under the influence of alcohol.  Mr. Francisco was taken into custody, processed, issued several motor vehicle summonses and he was released pending his court appearance.

 
DRUG ARREST: On June 28, 2017 a Delran Officer came in contact with Peter J. Ryan of Delran.  It was later learned that Mr. Ryan was in possession of Marijuana.  Mr. Ryan was charged with possession of Marijuana and he was released on a summons pending his court appearance.

SHOPLIFTING ARREST: On June 30, 2017 Delran Police were dispatched to Target for a shoplifting.  Charlene A. Black of Riverside was arrested and charged with shoplifting.  Mr. Black was released on a summons pending her court appearance.

We have had several reported car windows smashed in the parking lot of Planet Fitness and Giant Fitness while the victim is working out in these facilities. During these burglaries purses, wallets, cash, credit cards and cell phones have been reported stolen. Please remember to keep any valuables out of sight.

Reminder: The Delran Police Department has a drug drop box located in the lobby of the police department.  The drug drop box is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week.  No liquids or syringes are permitted.
